That’s why, over the years, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of helping many couples take their love to new depths — quite literally — with underwater proposals and weddings right here in Moalboal.
This morning at Cebu Fun Divers, we had the honor of being part of another truly special moment: an underwater proposal right here on our house reef in beautiful Moalboal.
With the sun shining, the reef full of life, and Dive Guide Nato leading the way, one of our guests got down on one knee—yes, underwater!—and popped the question with a custom dive slate.
This isn’t the first time we’ve helped someone turn a dive into a lifelong memory, and we hope it won’t be the last. Whether it’s a carefully planned surprise during a fun dive or a team effort with underwater signs, flowers, and GoPro footage, we’ve done it all before—and we love every minute of it.
And Yes, We Do Underwater Weddings Too
While today was all about the proposal, we’ve also been part of a number of underwater weddings over the years. If both partners are certified, we can make it happen easily—and if one still needs to get certified, we’ll help with the right PADI courses to get them ready.

No worries—we’ve thought of that too. If your partner isn’t certified, we can arrange a Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience just for them. It’s a quick and easy way to safely get them underwater for their very first time—with one of our instructors right by their side the entire dive.
We’ve successfully arranged DSD proposals before, and they’re incredibly special. Imagine your partner thinking they’re just trying scuba for the first time… and then suddenly you’re there, underwater, asking the biggest question of your lives. It’s unforgettable.
