The PADI Divemaster course is an exciting program designed to take your scuba diving skills to the professional level. As a Divemaster, you will become a leader in the diving community, assisting dive instructors and guiding certified divers on their underwater adventures. The course offers an e-learning option, which provides flexibility and convenience.

Online Learning

Using the PADI eLearning platform of the Divemaster Course allows you to study at your own pace and from the comfort of your home. It consists of interactive modules, videos, quizzes, and knowledge reviews that cover essential topics such as dive theory, physics, physiology, equipment, and dive planning. You can progress through the materials at your own pace, and there are knowledge assessments to test your understanding.

Hands-on Training

Once you have completed the e-learning portion, you will attend practical sessions with a PADI instructor in our dive center. During these sessions, you will apply the knowledge gained online through hands-on training. You will learn and practice skills like dive briefings, assisting in dive courses, conducting underwater mapping, leading dives, and supervising dive activities.

Throughout the course, you will also participate in a series of practical exercises and assessments to demonstrate your competence and understanding of the material. These include skills demonstrations, watermanship exercises, rescue scenarios, and knowledge exams.

Gaining Experience

One of the highlights of the Divemaster course is the opportunity to work closely with our experienced dive professionals who will guide and mentor you throughout the program. You will gain valuable insights into the diving industry, learn about dive center operations, and develop leadership skills.

Certification

After successfully completing your Divemaster training, you’ll receive a PADI Professional Member number and access to PADI’s Job Board where you can browse part-time or full-time job opportunities nearby and across the globe.

Where You Train

Our dive center is a top of the art PADI 5 Star Dive Center. The swimming pool was designed for scuba diving training. The dive center is set directly at the sea side, just walk into the sea to dive on a magnificent coral reef full of marine life.

Typical Day Of Training

Every day is different. You will be busy learning and diving basically every day of the course, from morning to evening.

Prerequisites & Requirements

18 years or older
Rescue Diver
CPR and First Aid certification within 24 months
Minimum of 40 logged dives (more is better)
Nitrox Diver
Deep Diver

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving. To avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Download here.
